Where the Olives Began

Godard's signature style traces back to a single commission, a birthday painting celebrating dirty martinis. He gave the olives faces, motion, and personality, and the idea took on a life of its own. He built momentum the hard way, painting live at drink and draw nights in Las Vegas bars and restaurants, often trading finished canvases for a meal during a genuinely difficult stretch of his life.

A Career Built on Color

Bright, saturated characters set against bold black backgrounds became his signature, and he has carried that style across dozens of series, the original Martini and Olive works, the Flower Series, the Frog Triptych, the Safari Series, Tour of Europe, and a run of playful Masters parodies that reimagine art history through his own lens. Look closely at any piece and you will often find a hidden name, date, or initial tucked into the composition.

Don't Drink and Draw, Godard's own book, was named an Art Book of the Year, and a documentary on his life has won awards on the independent festival circuit. His work has appeared on A&E's Criss Angel's Mindfreak, custom guitar art for Guns N' Roses, and album artwork for Dishwalla, alongside a long running collaboration tied to Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Art With a Purpose

Since 2006, following the loss of his daughter Paige to brain cancer at age 16, Godard has channeled much of his success into supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Nevada Cancer Institute, and the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation, including regular hospital visits where he paints alongside children in treatment.
