Let's Fly Away by Michael Godard is a limited edition canvas giclée by the Las Vegas pop artist, offered as a Mile High edition of 50 at 24" x 30".
Godard says the inspiration came from a bomber martini shaker he was given as a Christmas gift, and in the scene the stewardesses run behind trying to catch up to the plane, like all the people who are always running late. It brings a fun, travel-themed lift to a home bar, office, or man cave.
"I have a lot of flying buddies who know everything about planes, but the inspiration came from the bomber martini shaker someone gave me as a Christmas gift. A few days later, I was talking to a pilot of mine and he asked me, “You got any pilot pieces?” and I said, “Must be a sign cause I just got a martini shaker that looks like a plane.”
Here the stewardesses are running behind trying to catch up to the plane, which reminded me of all the people who are always running late." ~ Michael Godard
This is a gallery wrapped canvas.
- Mile High edition of “Let's Fly Away” features unique enhancement by Michael himself, making your piece a one-of-a-kind image
