About Michael Godard
"VIP" is a martini-and-olive composition from Godard's foundational cocktail series, and his signature personified olives anchor the scene. The treatment follows a formula Godard has used across hundreds of works: That visual approach, bright, high-contrast color against black grounds, characters with genuine personality, and hidden names, dates, or initials worked into the scene, is the same formula he has applied to nearly every subject in his catalog.
