About Michael Godard
"We Olive Hockey" continues Michael Godard’s habit of building an entire painting around a single pun, here combining his signature olive characters with ice hockey rather than his more familiar bar or casino settings. The sports theme fits an artist with documented ties to professional sports imagery, including artwork associated with Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Raiders.
