About Michael Godard
Michael Godard, born in 1963 and based in Las Vegas, drummed in bands before he ever picked up a brush, and that showman's energy carries into pieces like Beer Thirty. Known as the "Rockstar of the Art World," he built his name giving fruit like olives and grapes their own personalities, but work like this shows how far his subject range reaches, from the casino floor out into beer and nature themed scenes. After losing his daughter Paige to cancer, Godard has long supported children's cancer charities, including St. Jude.
