"My wife and I love rap music, and it's all about the bling," Michael Godard says of this piece, where one olive wears a necklace with an "e," another wears a "g," the female olive's cross carries his wife's initials, and the shoes are the Charles David heels that crowd his closet at home.
Gangsta' Martini (Living Large) Suite is a limited edition canvas giclee by Las Vegas pop artist Michael Godard, offered in the S Edition of 100 at 28" x 35". Its hip-hop bling and martini theme make it a bold centerpiece for a home bar, man cave, or entertaining space.
"My wife and I love rap music, and it’s all about the bling. The olive on one knee has a necklace with an “e”, and the other olive has one with a “g”. The cross the female is wearing is one I bought. These are my wife’s initials. The shoes are Charles David and the reason I know this is that they occupy most of the space in my closet at home, leaving very little space for my stuff." ~ Michael Godard
This is a gallery wrapped canvas. S Edition is sold with accompanying Gangster Martini (2 Shots and a Splash) Suite Edition

About Michael Godard
Michael Godard, born in 1963, built his reputation as the "Rockstar of the Art World" after years drumming in Las Vegas bands, then made his name by giving the olive in a martini glass a face and a personality. Gangsta' Martini (Living Large) Suite pushes that idea into high-roller territory, loading the scene with the bling and personal details he likes to hide inside a canvas.
