About Michael Godard
Lover's Moon 2 sets Michael Godard's grape characters against a quieter, more romantic backdrop than his usual bar-and-casino scenes, and that range is part of what has kept his catalog growing for decades. Before he settled into painting fruit with personality, Godard spent years drumming in Las Vegas bands and working as an architectural draftsman and commercial illustrator, trades that trained an eye for composition long before he ever painted a grape with a face.
