About Michael Godard
"Starry Starry Wine" belongs to the tradition Michael Godard has explored in his Masters parody series, work that reinterprets famous art-historical imagery, in this case Vincent van Gogh’s "The Starry Night," through his own signature cast of personified grape and olive characters. The result is a piece that rewards viewers familiar with art history as much as those who simply enjoy Godard’s usual humor.
Michael Godard Gallery is an Authorized Michael Godard Dealer.
