Moonlight Golf sends two of Michael Godard's personified grape characters out onto a night-lit putting green, with a wine barrel doubling as a tee marker and a colossal wine glass tipping red wine toward the hole as shooting stars streak overhead. About Michael Godard
Moonlight Golf pulls two of Michael Godard's favorite subjects, wine and golf, onto the same moonlit green, with a giant wine glass standing in for the pin, and the pairing fits an artist widely nicknamed the "Rockstar of the Art World." That title reflects both his years as a working drummer in Las Vegas bands and the stage presence he brings to gallery openings and public appearances, where he is as much performer as painter.
