About Michael Godard
Fountain of Youth brings a mythic theme into Michael Godard's world of personified olives, part of the same charitable spirit that has quietly run through his career for decades. Since 2006, following the death of his sixteen-year-old daughter Paige to brain cancer, Godard has supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Nevada Cancer Institute, and he makes regular hospital visits to paint alongside children facing serious illness, work St. Jude formally honored in 2017.
