About Michael Godard
Just Chillin captures the laid-back side of Michael Godard's cocktail-themed catalog, and the mood fits an artist whose career only came together after years of hard, unglamorous work. Godard, born in 1963, spent his twenties as a working drummer in Las Vegas bands and supported himself through architectural drafting and commercial illustration, trades that had nothing to do with fine art but that shaped his sense of composition and discipline all the same.
