About Michael Godard
Michael Godard, born in 1963 and based in Las Vegas, is the painter known as the "Rockstar of the Art World," a former drummer with a taste for bold, theatrical color. He made his name giving fruit real personalities, and in the Tour of Europe Series he sends those same characters abroad, placing a personified strawberry beneath a moonlit Acropolis. Godard lost his daughter Paige to cancer and supports children's cancer charities, including St. Jude.
