Buy Matrix Martini by Michael Godard, a limited edition canvas giclée available in the Signed and Numbered edition.
Matrix Martini is one of Michael Godard's limited edition giclées, carrying the same bold color, sharp outlines, and playful character work collectors associate with his catalog.
Fans of man cave art and Las Vegas pop art gravitate toward pieces like this one, a signature entry in Godard's martini and olive catalog.
"This piece was inspired by the blockbuster movie The Matrix. This is a rendition of the classic Matrix scene as portrayed by our olives. Instead of a bullet, however, we see one olive hurling a toothpick, which strikes the glass stem. The other olive performs the extreme matrix bend to avoid being hit. In the background you will also see the numerical code from the movie, making this a perfect image for Matrix fans!" ~ Michael Godard
This is a gallery wrapped canvas.

About Michael Godard
Matrix Martini is one of the clearest examples of how Michael Godard folds pop culture into his signature cast of personified olives, and the impulse to riff on something instantly recognizable runs through much of his career. Since 2006, following the death of his sixteen-year-old daughter Paige to brain cancer, Godard has balanced that playful public persona with serious charitable work, supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Nevada Cancer Institute, and making regular hospital visits to paint alongside children facing illness, a commitment St. Jude formally recognized in 2017.
