About Michael Godard
"Slots of Fun 2" is a Las Vegas casino scene built around his signature olive characters, in which the olives are dropped into a card table, dice game, or slot floor. It was made by an artist whose career runs well outside the boundaries of a typical painter's resume. He was born on March 10, 1963, and spent his early years in Pasadena, California, before Las Vegas, Nevada became his adopted home and the backdrop for his career. Godard studied at ArtCenter College of Design and at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
