About Michael Godard
Happy Camper takes Michael Godard's olive characters into the outdoors, a smaller but consistent thread in a catalog otherwise associated with bars, casinos, and cocktail lounges. That range reflects an artist who studied at ArtCenter College of Design and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and who spent years as a working drummer in Las Vegas bands and in architectural drafting and commercial illustration before his painting career ever took shape.
