About Michael Godard
"Precious Moments" moves into the gentler, nature-focused side of Michael Godard's output, a butterfly rendered with the same bold outlines and saturated color he applies to his casino and cocktail scenes. It is worth noting how consistent his technique stays across wildly different subject matter; whether the subject is a card table or a butterfly, the black background and confident color choices are unmistakably his.
