It appeals to collectors of safari themed decor and nature and wildlife wall art, part of the nature and wildlife side of Godard's catalog.
“This Magical Fairy tale forest is filled with glowing fireflies and many hidden items such as angels, faces, hearts, love and all sorts of magic in the trees. It’s a departure from my normal black background. The male grape is out chasing fireflies for his strawberry love. She holds the glowing fireflies in her empty wine bottle. The more you look at the painting the more you will discover.” ~ Michael Godard
This is a gallery wrapped canvas.

About Michael Godard
Godard was born on March 10, 1963, and grew up in Pasadena, California, before eventually settling in Las Vegas, Nevada, the city most associated with his career. He studied at ArtCenter College of Design and later at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. "Chasing Fireflies" is a champagne-and-strawberry composition, and his personified strawberry characters take center stage against a bold background. It belongs to a career that began far from any gallery.
